Rooms were small but very comfortable,I liked the fact that no one of the street could come up to the rooms without a key card,My girls went with thier dad to sf and someone broke into their room while they were sleeping.. We felt safe !! Loved the roof top terrace.. I would stay with you again.
Not having a dresser or a fridge and the pop machine only had Coke in it.. I can't drink coke.

The Staff was very friendly, the location was very good. The beds were good
The breakfast was just awfull. But you dont have to eat at the Hotel obv. There was no airco in the room which was uncomfortable. There were a lot of beggars in the hood. Don't go out at night.

The size and look of the rooms and comfort.
This hotel is in a bad location and a single woman traveller should not stay in this area. The street has too many homeless shelters and a really rough vibe to it. I was afraid to walk anywhere.

Enjoyed the convenience of the shuttle that took us to Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf and picked us up - it was a great service. Room was nice and stylish. Breakfast was very good and enjoyed the view from the 8th floor. Staff very helpful.
The hotel obviously can't help its location - but that is certainly one of the drawbacks. Would have liked it if the restaurant in the hotel had been open to provide alternative food options when it was rainy and cold. The rooms could use dressers and full-length mirrors but otherwise very nice.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful (especially Veronica) and the breakfast buffet was excellent.
The location was central to downtown but Ellis is not a very nice street/area. Lots of homeless people around. Didn't get any hassle though.

Large room with nice city view. Comfortable bed with nice sheets. Bathroom is upgraded and is a really good size.
The location isn't so great. Breakfast could be better. The free shuttle service isn't very convenient to use so you end up taking cabs everywhere.

Veronica and the staff were so awesome. I was a little afraid on the first day, but they treated us so great. Sharing all the secrets of where to walk , where to eat, and what to try. Loved it.
A little scary neighborhood.

Loved having a TV with plenty of channels to choose from, plus central heating and a safe in the room for extra peace of mind. 📺 the location was awesome, just a short 10-15 minute walk away from a great spot for people-watching.

The service and attitude of the staff was outstanding, especially considering failure of the elevators. The bellmen, who had to carry luggage up and down six floors for a week, are especially to be commended. The front desk people, who had to deal with angry and frustrated guests, were admirable in their composure and assistance.
Our reservation made through Booked.net was not in the hotel records. Considering all of the other guest problems that the staff faced and solved, I must consider that a fault of Booked.net. As noted, the elevators were not working during our stay; after being repaired we had to wait another three days for all of the inspections to be completed - not a fault of the hotel but something that they had to deal with.
